A GREAT TRAINING OPPORTUNITY

As many of you know for many years (more than I like to think about) I have been conducting training for fire departments throughout the country. The recession of 2008-9 required most departments to pull back on their training budget. Since then fire departments have continually reduced their training budget to the point that there are no training funds available. This is unfortunate because other than emergency response, training is the single most important functional priority.

Now that the recession has been declared over, fire departments are starting to rebuild their training budgets. The Firehouse World Conference in Los Angeles is a great and inexpensive opportunity to increase your knowledge on a plethora of topics. The conference is in March 2019.
